13 Therefore Saul turned him away from his presence and appointed him as his commander of one thousand; and he went out and came in before the people. 14 And David was prospering in all his ways, and Yahweh was with him. 15 Then Saul saw that he was prospering greatly, so he dreaded him. 16 But all Israel and Judah loved David, for he went out and came in before them.
