Then he must call for athe elders of the church and they are to pray over him, 1,banointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15And the aprayer 1offered in faith will bsave the one who is 2sick, and the Lord will craise him up, and if he has committed sins, 3they will be forgiven him. 16Therefore, aconfess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be bhealed. cThe effective 1prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
