A Praise of David.

I will ^aexalt You, ^bmy God, O King,And I will ^cbless Your name forever and ever.

ב Beth

²Every day I will bless You,And I will ^apraise Your name forever and ever.

ג Gimel

³^aGreat is Yahweh, and highly to be praised,And His ^bgreatness is unsearchable.

ד Daleth

⁴One ^ageneration shall laud Your works to another,And shall declare Your mighty deeds.

ה He

⁵On the ^aglorious ¹splendor of Your majestyAnd ^bon the words of Your wondrous deeds, I will muse.

ו Vav

⁶Men shall speak of the strength of Your ¹^,^afearsome acts,And I will ^brecount Your greatness.

ז Zayin

⁷They shall pour forth the memory of Your ^aabundant goodnessAnd will ^bshout joyfully of Your righteousness.

ח Heth

⁸Yahweh is ^agracious and compassionate;Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.

ט Teth

⁹Yahweh is ^agood to all,And His ^bcompassions are over all His works.

י Yodh

¹⁰^aAll Your works, O Yahweh, shall give thanks to You,And Your ^bholy ones shall bless You.

כ Kaph

¹¹They shall speak of the ^aglory of Your kingdomAnd talk of Your might;

ל Lamedh

¹²To ^amake known to the sons of men His mighty deedsAnd the ^bglory of the majesty of His kingdom.

מ Mem

¹³Your kingdom is ¹an ^aeverlasting kingdom,And Your dominion endures from generation to every generation.

ס Samekh

¹⁴Yahweh ^asustains all who fallAnd ^braises up all who are bowed down.

ע Ayin

¹⁵The eyes of all wait on You,And You ^agive them their food in due time.

פ Pe

¹⁶You ^aopen Your handAnd satisfy the desire of every living thing.

צ Tsadhe

¹⁷Yahweh is ^arighteous in all His waysAnd holy in all His works.

ק Qoph

¹⁸Yahweh is ^anear to all who call upon Him,To all who call upon Him ^bin truth.

ר Resh

¹⁹He will ^awork out the desire of those who fear Him;He will ^bhear their cry for help and He will save them.

שׁ Shin

²⁰Yahweh ^akeeps all who love Him,But all the ^bwicked He will destroy.

ת Tav

²¹My ^amouth will speak the praise of Yahweh,And ^ball flesh will ^cbless His holy name forever and ever.

I Will Praise Yahweh Throughout My Life

146¹Praise Yah!^aPraise Yahweh, O my soul!²I will praise Yahweh ^athroughout my life;I will ^bsing praises to my God while I have my being.³^aDo not trust in nobles,In merely a son of ^bman, in whom there is ^cno salvation.⁴His ^aspirit departs, he ^breturns to ¹the earth;In that very day his ^cplans perish.⁵How ^ablessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,Whose ^bhope is in Yahweh his God,⁶Who ^amade heaven and earth,The ^bsea and all that is in them;Who ^ckeeps truth forever;⁷Who ^adoes justice for the oppressed;Who ^bgives food to the hungry.Yahweh ^csets the prisoners free.⁸Yahweh ^aopens the eyes of the blind;Yahweh ^braises up those who are bowed down;Yahweh ^cloves the righteous;⁹Yahweh ^akeeps the sojourners;He ¹^,^bhelps up the orphan and the widow,But He bends ^cthe way of the wicked.¹⁰Yahweh will ^areign forever,Your God, O Zion, ¹from generation to generation.²Praise Yah!
