Acts 2:22-24, Job 1:20-22, Psalm 139:13-16

²²“Men of Israel, listen to these words: ^aJesus the Nazarene, ^ba man ¹attested to you by God with ²miracles and ^cwonders and ³signs which God did through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know— ²³this Man, delivered over by the ^apredetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, ^byou nailed to a cross by the hands of lawless men and put Him to death. ²⁴“¹But ^aGod raised Him up again, putting an end to the ²agony of death, since it ^bwas impossible for Him to be held ³in its power.

²⁰Then Job arose and ^atore his robe and shaved his head, and he fell to the ground and worshiped. ²¹And he said, “^aNaked I came from my mother’s womb,And naked I shall return there.^bYahweh gave, and Yahweh has taken away.Blessed be the name of Yahweh.”

²²^aThrough all this Job did not sin, nor did he give offense to God.

¹³For You ^aformed my ¹inward parts;You ^bwove me in my mother’s womb.¹⁴I will give thanks to You, for ¹I am fearfully and wonderfully made;^aWonderful are Your works,And my soul knows it very well.¹⁵My ¹^,^aframe was not hidden from You,When I was made in secret,And ^bintricately woven in the ^cdepths of the earth;¹⁶Your ^aeyes have seen my unshaped substance;And in ^bYour book all of them were writtenThe ^cdays that were formed for me,When as yet there was not one of them.
