The North Gate
20As for the agate of the outer court which faced the north, he measured its length and its width. 211It had three aguardrooms on each side; and its bside pillars and its porches 2had the same measurement as the first gate. Its length was 3,cfifty cubits and the width dtwenty-five cubits. 22Its awindows and its porches and its palm tree ornaments had the same measurements as the bgate which faced toward the east; and 1it was reached by seven csteps, and its 2porch was in front of them. 23The inner court had a gate opposite the gate on the north as well as the gate on the east; and he measured one ahundred cubits from gate to gate.
