The Yoke of Nebuchadnezzar
27In the beginning of the reign of 1,aZedekiah the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying— 2thus says Yahweh to me—“Make for yourself abonds and the bbars of a yoke and put them on your neck, 3and you shall send 1word to the king of aEdom, to the king of bMoab, to the king of the sons of cAmmon, to the king of dTyre, and to the king of eSidon by the hand of messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.
