45aAnd Jesus entered the temple and began to driveoutthose who were selling, 46saying to them, “It is written, ‘aAnd My house shall be a house of prayer,’ bbut you have made it a robbers’1den.”
47And aHe was teaching daily in the temple, but the chiefpriests and the scribes and the leadingmen among the peoplebwere trying to destroy Him, 48and they could not find1anything that they might do, for all the peoplehungupon2every word He said.
