²⁸In the ^ayear that King Ahaz died this ¹^,^boracle came:

²⁹“Do not be glad, O ^aPhilistia, all of you,Because the rod that ^bstruck you is broken;For from the serpent’s root a ^cviper will come out,And its fruit will be a ^dflying fiery serpent.
