Numbers 14:24, Numbers 32:12, Deuteronomy 1:36, Joshua 14:9, Joshua 14:14

²⁴“But My servant Caleb, ^abecause he has had a different spirit and has followed Me fully, ¹^,^bI will bring into the land ²which he entered, and his seed shall take possession of it.

¹²except Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua the son of Nun, ^afor they have followed Yahweh fully.’

³⁶except Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and ^ato him and to his sons I will give the land on which he has set foot, because he has followed Yahweh fully.’

⁹“So Moses swore on that day, saying, ‘Surely ^athe land on which your foot has trodden will be an inheritance to you and to your children forever because you have followed Yahweh my God fully.’

¹⁴Therefore, Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite until this day because he fully followed Yahweh, the God of Israel.
