And on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb was being sacrificed, His disciples said to Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare for You to eat the Passover?”

Go! Behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.

Then came the first day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.

On the next day, he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

and he looked at Jesus as He walked, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”

So when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My lambs.”

Now the passage of Scripture which he was reading was this: “As a sheep is led to slaughter; And as a lamb before its shearer is silent, So He does not open His mouth.
